Many people suffer from vertigo, and although it is not a life threatening disease, it can be very disturbing. Some of the symptoms are loss of balance, dizziness, and a buzzing noise in the ear. This makes it impossible for the ones who suffer from the disease to enjoy life to the fullest.
The good news is that there are exercises that can take away the symptoms in just a matter of minutes. If these exercises are repeated constantly, they will prevent the symptoms from returning and they can even cure the disease.
- When the symptoms start and you feel dizzy, quickly lie down. If you are not close to a bed or a couch, you can lie down directly on the floor as long as you have something to support your head at 45 degrees. Maintain this position for 10 minutes and you will notice how the symptoms disappear.
- Kneel on the floor and place your elbows in front of you on the floor. Depending on the ear that is causing the problems, turn your face to the left or right and put your cheek on the floor. Maintain this position for a few minutes or until the symptoms disappear. If both ears are affected, simply maintain the position on the left side for 3 minutes, then on the right side for 3 minutes.
- Kneel on the floor and keep your eyes on the ceiling for 1 minute. Without moving your body, and moving just your neck, try to look to the right side as far as possible. Maintain this position for one minute, and then repeat with the left side. While you change the position make sure that you do not move your head too quickly, as this might make the symptoms appear again.
